Lighted Nature Trail & Evening Bonfire / Campground / 4pm – 8pm
Take a calming stroll through the campground’s groomed trail, lit up by an array of lights and glowsticks! We will also be providing bonfires within the campground, to warm up after your magical walk, and get a toasty cup of hot chocolate or cider to go with it. Take the opportunity to roast yourself a marshmallow, and even construct your own s’more!
Adult Winter Art Party! / Rodds Stillwaters Conference Room / 6pm – 8pm
We all have an artist within us, let yours out by signing up for our adults (19+) only art party! Led by Jo-Anne Ford, you will be taken through a laid back session of creating a beautiful winter scene. This is the main hub of activity for our Winter Frolic! We have lots to do and see during this time beginning with a Kids Art Corner where your little artist can explore their true potential by drawing, colouring, or creating nature themed crafts. The Birds N’ Nature Construction Corner is more hands-on, where you will be able to build a tree swallow nest box, or create your very own natural bird feeder. You will have a chance to interact with miniature animals from Lexie’s Hobby Farm such as goats, pigs, a donkey and a cow! Laugh It Up photo booth will be an opportunity to be silly, entertaining and down right hilarious creating memorable moments with your friends. Lastly, this will be a great opportunity to see magnificent birds-of-prey up close and personal with Peter from Island Falconry Services. You will learn how falcons, owls, and hawks are used in pest management and control. If the weather is warm enough, you may even get to see a demonstration of these extraordinary birds in action!
