On the original site of the Canadian National Railway Depot, Murray Harbour has created a beautiful park that will reveal the history of this water front town. As you stroll through the park you will learn about the important part of railway life in the town of Murray Harbour. This was considered the end of the line of the railway. Relax and have a picnic lunch then take a walk through the Rail Head Trails and the Confederation Trail through Indian Woods.
Spend part of your day exploring Murray Harbour by parking your car at the wharf and walk around the town. The view from the harbour lookout is picturesque and if you feel like a walk along the beach just follow the shore. Visit the local convenience store which also is a liquor outlet or enjoy an island treat at the restaurant.
