Souris remains one of the provinces main seaports, noted for its large fishing and lobster industry and has the only offshore fishing fleet on PEI.
Souris Marina

Souris has a splendid marina that is now in full operation. It is located inside the main breakwater at the landward end of the breakwater. In addition to berths for seasonal customers, the substantial floating docks can also accommodate at least half-a-dozen visitors with space for vessels up to 60ft. in water with minimum depths of 18 feet. Both water and electricity (15/30 amps) are available on shore and a marina services building with washrooms, showers, toilets, and laundry. Diesel, gas and pump-out also available.
