The quiet water of the Cardigan River tends to be a little warmer in the summer than what Islanders call the “Outside” shore. This is what makes Morrison’s Beach an ideal family location. The water is nice for wading and the sand is perfect for castle building. Morrison’s Beach is close to both Georgetown and Cardigan.
