Hosted by Chef Michael Smith, Chef Shane Chartrand, Chef Michael Hunter, and The Inn at Bay Fortune Fire Brigade, we invite you to enjoy an epic evening exploring an interactive chef’s paradise of farm, fire, flavours, and friends! You’ll discover culinary delights at every turn, including multiple distinct Farm & Fire flavour stations. Our learning food stations will focus on Culinary Farm, local suppliers, Island seafood and Island foraged indigenous ingredients and gifts from our Guest Chefs.
The Inn at Bay Fortune, a haven of 75 acres of field, farm and forest, offers a breathtaking view of Bay Fortune, the Northumberland Straight and on clear days Cape Breton to the east. To the west lie our woodlands. Beginning at the back of our Culinary Farm, a network of easily explored paths, trails and lanes stretch deep into our Acadian Forest, promising a unique outdoor experience that will leave you in awe of nature’s beauty.
Prepare to embark on an extraordinary culinary journey as an array of outdoor fire-fueled food stations will be scattered throughout the extensive Culinary farm, gardens, Art Forest & Woodland Trails, FireGarden, FireWorks Restaurant, Greenhouse Event Space, Mushroom Patch and the whimsical grounds of The Inn at Bay Fortune.
