Maytree is a couples retreat located on the southeastern shore of Prince Edward Island. We offer a one-of-a-kind accommodations experience that allows our guests to reconnect with each other, and connect with the natural beauty of our surroundings.

We’re tucked away just a few kilometers outside of Murray River, a charming fishing village offering a variety of places to eat & views to discover.

Our mission at Maytree Eco Retreat is simple. We want our guests to leave inspired.

We are a farming family preparing fresh and healthy ready to eat meals, sandwiches and sweets above the Souris Rink.
Our menus are created daily by Chef Lance and are inspired by the seasons and local availability.
We have a small farm on the Little River in Eglington that specialises in Berkshire pork, Free Range Poultry and Apples.
Custom catering available by request and on a case by case basis

Fleece and Harmony, located in Belfast, produces truly local yarns. Our wool is sourced from local farms on the Island. Inspired by the reds of the beaches, the blues of the ocean, and the greens of the pastures, our hand dyed yarns allow you to bring a little piece of the Island with you, wherever you go. Fleece and Harmony also has the largest selection of Rowan yarns east of Ontario and carries over 150 titles of books and magazines for knitters.

Welcome to Country Road Cabin Rentals!
Country Road Cabin Rentals is located on our beautiful property in Tracadie Cross, PEI. Our family is very proud of our little oasis that we have created and want others to be able to enjoy its peacefulness and beauty as much as we do.
Our cabins are located just thirty feet from the Confederation Trail. Tracadie Cross is centrally located. We are just 21 kms from Charlottetown, 5 km to Blooming Point Beach, 19 kms to The Links at Crowbush and 15 kms to Dalvay beach. The central location makes it an ideal base for exploring the best of PEI.
After a day of biking, golfing, or exploring PEI’s gorgeous beaches, unwind in the peaceful surroundings of our cabins. It’s the perfect spot to rest, recharge and immerse yourself in the natural beauty that surrounds us.
Harness Racing is a very big part of our lives. With our standardbred horses located on site. Enjoy the morning views of our horses jogging on our personal training track. Their beauty is amazing. You will find some other four-legged family members on our property as well. This is true country living with all the modern-day conveniences.
We have four rustic cabins with all the amenities for comfort. Each cabin has electricity, small kitchen with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, and cutlery. A deck with deck furniture to enjoy the fresh country air is an added bonus.
Each cabin sleeps 5 (one set of bunk beds is single top and bottom and the second set of bunk beds is double on bottom and single on top). All bedding and bath towels are provided.
There are 2 separate full baths located on the property for all four cabins to share.
A BBQ, laundry service and water bottle filling station are some of the added features you will find on our property, for all guests to use.

Nabuurs Fruit Orchards promotes a farm to table experience, welcoming those who wish to come harvest their own fresh fruit through a U-Pick. We have walking trails on a total of 35 Acres located in Cardigan PEI. Those who visit get to experience natural occuring trees (native species is no longer a welcomed term for further eductation). We offer easy home recipes to guide those in the kitchen for the delicious use of out fresh and frozen fruit. Tourists are welcomed to snack fresh fruit in the field free of charge and pay at the gate for what they leave with. This allows for natures best outdoor experience. Year-round at Bailey Studio Gallery, renowned resident artist, and artist mentor, Kathy Marlene Bailey teaches Renaissance methods in small PEI destination workshops and across the continent in online Zoom classes. She also teaches live Renaissance glaze oil classes to our talented PEI artist community and sometimes offers plein air destination workshops here on the spectacular grounds of Bailey Studio Gallery, situated on the warm-watered south-eastern shores of PEI.

You can book a full destination art experience – or you and your visiting small group could simply venture over to Little Sands any time and take in a free, very informative, interactive demo by Kathy. As tiny amounts of paint in transparent glazes emerge from the brush, it is absolutely fascinating to see a glaze oil painting instantly morphs into greater luminosity! As the glaze is modified, it gets even more amazing as it transforms into the feeling of depth!

The Cidery is located in Caledonia, the heart of south-eastern Prince Edward Island. Named for the ravine that dissects the land into two hills, we are now growing 16 different varieties of cider apples. The farm is also home to a wide variety of wild apple trees that provide apples to our Nomad cider.

As an FFI Casting Instructor trained by Bill Spicer of The New Fly Fisher and a dedicated angler, I offer guided fly fishing experiences suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced enthusiasts. Tailoring each trip to your specific needs, I provide personalized instruction on casting techniques, fly selection, and effective fishing methods.

During early April – end of October they operate a Sunflower Trail, which is beautiful and indended for family photo opporunities.

In September-October they operate a massive Maize Quest Corn Maze which is full of scavenger hunt type activities, great for the entire family. The Corn Maze can take up to 1.5 hours to complete. They also have a Mini Maze for the smaller children.

Come Halloween Season they operate a Halloween Trail which is the scariest destination east of Charlottetown for the thrill seekers.

During regular business hours 10am-6pm daily, they are full of local vegtables that have come straight off the farm and directly to their Market. They also have a wide variety of pumpkins and seasonal fall decor items.

Ocean Acres Cottages is a year round business and our Campground is open May till the end of October, weather permitting. With a 3 1/2 Canada Select Rating, Ocean Acres Cottages & Campground is one of the most recommended places to stay in the south eastern part of Prince Edward Island. ​

Ocean Acres is a 55 minute scenic drive southeast of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and only a 20 minute drive from the Wood Islands Ferry. Ocean Acres is nestled near the fishing hamlet of Murray Harbour.
