Spend your summer vacation on a quiet getaway in Eastern PEI. This cottage has a beach just down the bank that's great for swimming, kayaking , beach combing, clam digging or just basking in the sun . 35 min from Charlottetown, 30 min from the notable 'singing sands' of Basin Head Beach, 15 min from Brudenell Golf Resort, 20 min from super markets and 12 min from Cardigan, where you can get a fill-up (of gas or spirits), enjoy a lobster dinner or first class dining.
You'll find everything you need - lots of chairs for sunning and a covered pergola for getting out of the sun; a screened-in porch for getting out of the rain or bugs; an outdoor shower for leaving the sand outdoors (and an indoor one too!); a library of novels and also one of old movies. And ... if you like boating, we'd be happy to invite you for a cruise up the Cardigan River.
The cottage, grounds and beach are yours to use while you're there, as are the 2 kayaks in the boathouse. There'll be wood available for your use, should you decide to put on the wood stove.
