50 Years Acknowledgment
Rossiter Park grounds | 1pm – 3pm
In 2025, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of a landmark moment in PEI’s environmental history – the historic approval of the province’s first green belt legislation, led by the Morell & Area Land Use Steering Committee, protecting the Morell River’s vital habitat. Also, join us in honouring 30 years of Morell River Management Coop, as we recognize their leadership, innovation, and ongoing dedication to protecting this treasured natural resource.

Great River Run Duck Race
Morell River @ Rossiter Park | between 4 & 5pm (weather & tides permitting)
We are wrapping up 2025 with our popular rubber duck race. Purchase a duck for only $5. The first duck to cross the finish line is worth $1000 cash. There’s also a $250 Lucky Duck prize to a random duck plucked from the rest of the flock.
