Festival of Small Halls, Kings Playhouse

Our final show of the 2025 season returns home to the King’s Playhouse. With 4 ECMA nominations and 4 Music PEI awards, local singer-songwriter Noah Malcolm brings fresh folk-pop and tender Island songs to the afternoon. Multiple PEI Music Award winning Tiffany Liu specializes in the traditional Chinese Pipa. She’s appeared at Winnipeg Folk, Stan Rogers Fest, and has been collaborating with percussion and guitar, becoming one of the most exciting World Music ensembles in the Maritimes. The exceptional Shane Cook & The Woodchippers round out the bill. Led by Canadian and US National fiddle champion Shane Cook, the group has toured across the US, Scotland, Germany and Canada. The Canadian Folk Music award nominated trio features Joe Phillips on vocals and double bass, and 5-time National step dance champion Kyle Waymouth on guitar and tenor banjo. They’re joined by Encore Dance troupe, led by Juliette Roberts, and Cameron ‘fastest feet’ Francis. Come celebrate another slammin’ Small Halls season!
