Description:

Looking for an eco-friendly and educational adventure for all ages? Join the Souris and Area Branch of the PEI Wildlife Federation for a unique chance to explore the unseen part of Basin Head. Our interactive Beyond the Beach eco-experiences allow you to delve into the past and present history of the Marine Protected Area as well as explore the beautiful sand dunes and aquatic community of the lagoon. The experience includes a guided beach walk, a tasty picnic incorporating seaweeds and local products, and finishes with a net pull in the lagoon to examine the creatures living there.

Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays of July and August
Time: 10am 
Meeting point: Outside Basin Head Fisheries Museum (we'll be in the lime green t-shirts!)
Cost: $25/adult, $10/child, and children 5 and under are free.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and let us know in advance of any food allergies.
