Three unique musical stylings will come together on Sunday, June 3rd at Copper Bottom Brewing to celebrate the upcoming 42nd Annual Rollo Bay Fiddle Festival. Together, the three artists will perform their own originals, chat about their work, and collaborate musically.
Hosted by well-known Island musician Tim Chaisson, it will be one of his only performances on the island before he and his band The East Pointers begin their tour of the UK in late June.
Joined by Tim will be Nick Doneff and Cape Breton native Norma MacDonald. MacDonald, who has just released her fourth studio album, Burn the Tapes, has an uncanny ability to weave lyrics of heartbreaks and old stories into a warming & bright country-folk sound.
Doneff is an Ontario born, PEI based singer-songwriter who caught the attention of many after releasing his debut, self-titled album in December of 2016. His song 'Old Dog' was featured on CBC's flaghip arts and culture program, Q, alongside a glowing review from host Tom Power who compared him to the likes of John Prine and Joel Plaskett.
Tickets are just $20 + tax and ticket fee in advance. This is a 19+ event. No refunds or exchanges on tickets. Doors open at 7:00PM.
